Welcome! Tatradomy are MOBILE and MODULAR homes built precisely to order — from a weekend cabin by the water to a full family home for year-round living. We are a Slovak company based in Ružomberok, in the heart of the mountains. We put the emphasis on flexibility when working with the customer and the honest craftsmanship of every house.
Instead of a single workshop of our own, we work with vetted manufacturers of mobile and modular homes across Central Europe — and for you we arrange everything: design, manufacturing, delivery and assembly right on your plot. You deal with one contract and one partner, while we safeguard quality at every step. Tatradomy is part of a group of companies with more than 20 years of experience in construction and timber production.

We offer modular homes in a wide range of models and sizes — as a year-round family home or a holiday house beneath the Tatras.
Modular homes are built from a durable steel-and-timber structure, fully prepared in production and then delivered completely finished and installed directly on your plot. The house consists of two or four modules; on-site assembly takes one day. In durability, quality and parameters our modular homes match and often surpass traditional brick buildings. The customer gets our guarantee of delivery date, price and quality — the modular home arrives fully finished right on the plot. A modular home is thus a full-fledged alternative to traditional brick houses.

We offer mobile homes in various sizes and styles — in both summer and year-round versions, with insulation and utilities that allow comfortable living all year round beneath the Tatras.
Every mobile home has a steel-and-timber structure that guarantees high durability and resilience. Depending on the frame size, the house weighs between 6 and 10 tonnes. Mobile homes have their own axles and wheels, so you can place them on your plot exactly where you want without heavy machinery. On request we also build a two-module version or a chassis-free house, which we set down with a crane.

Mobile home F3 — is a two-module build — two smaller mobile homes joined into one unit directly on the customer's plot. It features a gallery above part of the ground floor and a living room with a high ceiling.

Mobile-home equipment variants
We offer our mobile homes in three finish standards — Basic, Comfort and Premium. Modular homes are additionally available in the Development standard:
- Basic — a finished house with complete utilities, but without furniture and without bathroom or kitchen equipment.
- Comfort — unfurnished rooms, but with a fully equipped bathroom and kitchen (kitchen units, sanitary ware, appliances).
- Premium — a completely finished and furnished house — furniture and appliances in every room.
- Development — finished from the outside, interior ready for self-finishing (modular houses only).

Thanks to an extensive list of optional equipment you choose and design the house yourself in comfort — picking colours, materials and solutions to your own taste. Configuring the house is a simple and pleasant process that results in a tailor-made home. Our designers and advisors will guide you through the whole process and advise you.
- Steel-and-timber house structure — a welded, hot-dip galvanised steel floor frame; floor, walls and roof from kiln-dried Scandinavian C24 timber
- Two-layer MFP 22+15 mm tongue-and-groove floor

What are year-round and holiday mobile homes?
Many people dream of a holiday mobile home where they can rest from everyday duties — whether by a lake, in the mountains or on their own plot. The design possibilities are greater than you might think. In recent years mobile homes have become an increasingly popular choice. It is therefore worth looking at what defines a "house on wheels" and when you can also use it for year-round living.
Can a mobile home be bought on a lease or loan?
Yes, every Tatradomy mobile home can be purchased via a lease or with a favourable loan. Contact us — we will prepare a no-obligation quote tailored exactly to your model.
What utilities do Tatradomy mobile homes include?
All year-round and holiday Tatradomy mobile homes have electrical wiring, ventilation and an antenna feed for terrestrial TV, optionally also a gas connection. Plumbing is a matter of course. As standard we use window micro-ventilators, but heat recovery and air conditioning (also with a heating function) are available. Before placing the mobile home we recommend providing electricity, water and possibly gas connections on the plot. Houses intended for year-round and long-term living should be connected to an efficient wastewater system.
How is a mobile home transported?
Because of its dimensions and legal rules, transporting a mobile home is a more demanding operation that requires detailed route planning, clearance assessment and often the use of low-loader trailers for oversized transport. Tatradomy provides insured transport of all mobile homes in the range directly to the customer's plot.
How much does transport and installation of the house cost?
Transport is charged separately — it is a special oversized transport with its own escort, its price depends on the distance, the size of the house, and any necessary permits along the route. Installation, anchoring, connection, and commissioning of the house are carried out by the assembly team and are also charged separately; assembly work usually takes 1–2 working days. We will calculate the exact price for transport and installation after clarifying the location.
What foundations does a mobile or modular house need?
The house has its own floor frame with a steel-wood structure. We recommend point foundations — typically 6 to 8 concrete footings 50×50×100 cm. Foundations are not included in the house price. A mobile home can also stand on its own wheels or on supports.
How long does house delivery take?
Mobile homes are usually delivered within 7–8 months, modular houses within 9–10 months — from project approval and selection of all materials. The actual installation and commissioning of the house on the plot then takes 1–2 working days.
How does payment work?
Payment can be divided into 3–4 tranches according to the progress of work on the house production. You do not pay everything upfront at once — individual payments correspond to the actual state of production. The exact payment schedule is part of the contract.
Is the house project included in the price?
Yes — the project is included in the price of the ordered house and includes architecture, statics, and internal installations. The project requires adaptation to a specific plot by a local architect — this is charged separately. We will be happy to advise you on adaptation and formalities.
What equipment standards do you offer for houses?
In three standards: Basic (finished house without furniture and without bathroom and kitchen equipment), Comfort (equipped bathroom and kitchen, rooms unfurnished), and Premium (fully furnished house). We can also supply modular houses in the Development standard — finished externally, interior for self-completion.
Can a modular house be extended later?
Yes. Thanks to the modular construction, the house can be easily extended in the future by adding further modules — or even moved to another plot.
